it includes washington county. that would be hagerstown down through front royal and shenandoah and charlottesville. it may start earlier and i think it will be cold enough at the surface for this liquid rain to be freezing rain, rain that freezes on contact. eventually it mixes to sleet and snow and you could get accumulation of snow in these areas friday morning as colder air gets pulled in. all of us may have to deal with a small accumulation friday as well. we will try to sort things out for you. the rain that we are watching is a light mix. that will stay south of the district and hopefully temperatures will stay above32 degrees so you shouldn't have too many problems. friday it could get dicey. i think it will start as rain. after midnight sleet or freezing rain mixing in. then into friday morning and the storm pulls away, it should end as snow and a small accumulation is possible even in the metropolitan area. i think it could be enough that maybe we have delays to deal with friday morning. early head's up t
